Our work with ESG
Soon we will unveil our ESG report: A sustainable direction with plastics at the center
At Dansk Transport Emballage (DTE), we have long been committed to promoting responsible use and recycling of plastics. Now we're taking the next step in our green journey - and we're doing it with full transparency. In May, we will publish our first ESG report, where we openly share our achievements, ambitions and the challenges we face.
The report will provide insight into how we work strategically with Environmental, Social and Governance - climate and environment, social conditions and good corporate governance. It is a way of setting direction. A commitment to think and act responsibly throughout our value chain.

Sustainability as a strategic choice - not a requirement
As a smaller company, we are not subject to ESG requirements. Nevertheless, we have chosen to work strategically with sustainability and transparency. Not because we have to, but because it makes sense - both for us and for our customers. Transparency is not just an internal goal - it's something we actively use to make us a more reliable business partner. Our customers should be able to trust that they are choosing a supplier that thinks long-term and responsibly.
A natural next step
For years, we have invested in green solutions and circular thinking: from energy-saving CTS systems and LED lighting to waste sorting, recycling and conscious transportation choices. At the same time, we work with the UN Sustainable Development Goals - especially 7, 9, 12 and 15 - and aim to embed sustainability even deeper into our entire culture. With the ESG report, we gather our actions and results in one place - and make it more transparent what we stand for and how we take responsibility as a company.
Sustainability is also about people and leadership
The report will also show how we have strengthened our work environment, employee well-being and management structure so that sustainability is not just about climate - but about people and responsible operations. ESG is holistic, and so should our work.

Clear, honest and ambitious - how we work with ESG
At DTE, we believe that plastic is not the problem - but part of the solution. Our ESG report will document how we actively work with recycling, long-term solutions and CO₂ reduction through circular principles. We see plastic as a resource that - used correctly - can support both economic and environmental sustainability. Our upcoming ESG report will therefore be characterized by transparency and commitment to improvement. We've come a long way - but we're not there yet. And the most important thing we can do is to show where we are and where we want to go.
We are excited to share the report and hope it will inspire our customers, suppliers and industry colleagues to take even more sustainable steps.
