E-boxes

The so-called E-boxes (euronorm) are especially used as meat crates. E-boxes are available as E1, E2 and E3, with the only difference being the height. The meat box has its origins in the German meat industry, which dictates how it is designed, how much it can weigh and what material it is made of. This should be seen in light of the fact that the box is used as an exchange box between all meat industries. This way, all users can be sure that it always weighs the specified weight and that it is suitable for direct contact with food. The box used in the exchange system is generally made in red, but the box is also made in other colors, usually for internal use. The box is especially suitable for refrigeration and freezing as it has air holes in the top of the box and can be frozen down to -40 degrees. The box can withstand from -40 to +70 degrees. Many companies provide the plastic boxes with a logo and use these to brand themselves. The advantage of a logo is, of course, that you can easily see where the box belongs.
