Danish Transport Packaging's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

It is important to Dansk Transport Emballage (DTE) that we demonstrate social responsibility and create value for both businesses and society by engaging in dialogue with our suppliers and customers to address social and ethical challenges in accordance with internationally recognized principles of social responsibility.

Organization

Engagement with the outside world:

DTE strives to create a framework that makes it easy for DTE and our partners to engage in dialogue.

  • This is achieved, among other things, by ensuring that DTE’s partners are known and have a relationship with DTE. Customers, suppliers, employees, and government agencies are among the most important partners and stakeholders.
  • DTE is clear about which partners and which expectations we will focus on in particular in our CSR efforts.
  • DTE actively determines what, how, when, and to whom communication should be directed.

  • DTE strives to systematically identify any potential risks.
  • DTE regularly ensures that progress is made and that we follow up on the goals we set for ourselves.

Decision-making processes:

It is important for DTE to have decision-making processes and structures that support efforts to take economic, social, and environmental considerations into account. This is achieved, among other things, by:

  • Develop strategies, policies, and goals that reflect our commitment to CSR.
  • Create and foster a culture in which CSR is integrated and put into practice.
  • Encourage employees to get involved in CSR initiatives.

Supplier Policy

The company's expectations of its suppliers:

DTE’s suppliers play a vital role in ensuring the consistently high quality of the company’s products. DTE cannot achieve its goals without the support of and cooperation with its suppliers. Therefore, the goal is to develop partnerships with suppliers who share DTE’s ethical values. The company has developed the following guidelines for its code of ethics with the aim of developing and strengthening cooperation with suppliers. These guidelines form the basis for the ongoing cooperation between DTE and the company’s suppliers.

Audits:

  • DTE conducts scheduled audits of its suppliers to evaluate the quality of the goods received. During these audits, DTE also reviews the suppliers’ ethical guidelines. All suppliers must agree to and be prepared for audits by DTE. Our collaboration with suppliers involves an ongoing dialogue about continuous improvements to the way we work.
